Exercise caution when adding a memo field to your Trusted Destination. Memo is typically used for wallets holding an assetType like ATOM, Cosmos, XLM, that have an associated “memo” or “destination tag”. When creating a Trusted Destination to such an address, first verify whether it needs an associated memo or destination tag field. If yes, use memo object to populate this field. If not, ensure that memo is left unpopulated.

Transfers using POST v2/transfers to trusted destinations with a memo must include the exact memo string under the assetParameters field.
