Sub-quorum | Overview

Sub-quorums, also known as a set of approvers, can now be configured as needed. Each sub-quorum acts as a prerequisite and ensures that operations under a given administrator policy are not approved without receiving a predetermined number of approvals from the sub-quorum. Sub-quorums can be set up when editing your administrator policies.

A quorum is how we verify and confirm that multiple users (minimum 2 for a quorum) agree to create an operation to update the organization, move assets, or create/update API permission groups and keys.

Note: Clients need to have at least app version 2.55 to use this new feature. Once a sub-quorum is set, only users with a version greater than 2.55 can change policies or endorse these operations. However, this will not prevent them from performing other remaining operations.
